Quick answer
Each document in the Documents screen shows whether you must read and accept it or upload a file. Pending required documents stop the registration from being sent until you complete them.
The competition’s organiser can ask your club to read and accept rules and other texts, or to submit a file, such as an insurance policy or a certificate. This guide explains the Documents screen and what to do in each case.
Before you start
- Enter the competition. In Summary, the Before sending block shows the required documents still missing, with Read and accept, or All accepted. All the documents are in the Documents tab.
- You can accept and submit documents while the competition is still active. If it is finished or cancelled, the screen says so and nothing can be accepted or uploaded.
- To submit a file you need a PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP of up to 10 MB.
Step by step
1. Check the meter
At the top of the list you will see Required: followed by how many you have completed and the total, with a progress bar. Required documents that are not yet accepted or submitted block the sending of the registration. Optional ones do not. Below, the card says Needed to submit the registration while any is missing, or All accepted. If the competition has no documents, you will see “There are no documents yet.” with the View the competition link.
2. Understand each row
Each document shows its status and the button to use:
- To read · version {n}: a document for reference only. Select View.
- Required or Optional: it must be accepted. Select Read and accept.
- There is a new version · accept it again: the organiser has published a new version. You must accept it again.
- Accepted on {date} · {name}: it is already accepted. Select View to read it.
- Required or Optional · upload the certificate: a file must be submitted. Select Upload.
- Submitted on {date}: the file has already been submitted. Select Replace to upload another one.
3. Accept a document
- Select Read and accept. The document opens with its instructions.
- If it is a text, read it in the viewer. If it is a PDF, select View to open it in another tab.
- Tick the box I have read and accept.
- Select Accept.
If the organiser publishes a new version while you are reading, the viewer closes and you will see the notice “The document was updated while you were reading it. Review the current version and accept it again.” Open it again to accept the current version.
4. Submit a file
- Select Upload, or Replace if you have already submitted one.
- Choose the file on your computer. PDF, PNG, JPEG and WebP files of up to 10 MB are accepted.
- Wait while Uploading… appears. When it finishes, the row shows Submitted on and the date.
5. Send the registration
While required documents are pending, the registration cannot be sent. The bar at the bottom tells you what is missing: Accept the pending document to submit or Accept the pending documents to submit.
When you have them all, select Submit registration in the bar at the bottom. The full step is in Register your club with email and code.
If something goes wrong
- “The file exceeds 10 MB.”: compress the PDF or the image and upload it again.
- “We could not verify the file. Try again.”: the file has not been saved. Upload it again.
- “The document was updated while you were reading it. Review the current version and accept it again.”: read the current version and accept it.
- “Registration is closed at the moment.”: the competition no longer accepts changes to documents. If you need to submit something, ask the organiser.
- “There are required documents to accept or submit before sending.”: this appears if you try to send with required documents pending. Check the meter.
