Quick answer
In “My athletes”, on the Groups and teams tab, select New group, choose the type, type an alias and tick the members. When you register in a group division, “Use a saved group” fills in the gymnasts and the name.
A duo, trio, group or team is often repeated in several competitions. On the Groups and teams tab of My athletes you save them once, with an alias, and when you register you bring them back without ticking each gymnast again.
Before you start
- You must be a club administrator. The tab is available to any club in the panel, whether or not it uses Clybo’.
- The members come from the Individuals tab of My athletes. If there are no athletes yet, the screen asks you to add them first. How to do it is explained in Manage your club’s athletes.
- If your club uses Clybo’, you can choose both the athletes from the census (they carry the Clybo’ badge) and those you added by hand.
How to get there
Open the panel and, in the Club section of the sidebar, select My athletes. At the top, choose the Groups and teams tab. The page address carries ?vista=conjuntos, so you can save or share the direct link to this tab.
Step by step
1. Create a group
If there are none yet, you will see “No groups or teams yet”, with a text explaining that you save them once to enter them without picking the gymnasts again. Select New group, which is also in the header once you have a list.
In New group, complete:
- Type: Duo, Trio, Group or Team.
- Alias: the group’s name. Underneath it says this is how it will appear in entries and rotations. Aliases are unique in your club: you cannot repeat one.
- Members: a search box and a list with all your club’s athletes to tick. Those from the Clybo’ census carry the Clybo’ badge. A counter shows “N selected” and, next to it, the rule for the chosen type: a duo has 2 gymnasts, a trio 3, and a group or team between 2 and 12, reserves included.
Select Save. To leave without saving, select Cancel. If there are no athletes, the screen says to add them first in Individuals.
2. View and search
The table has the columns Alias, Type and Members. Above it you see the count of groups and the Search groups box. If none matches the search, the screen says so.
3. Edit a group
Select its row. Edit group opens with the same fields. Change the type, the alias or the members and select Save.
If a member is no longer among your club’s athletes (for example, because her Clybo’ team is no longer one of those that compete), she appears dimmed with the text “No longer among your athletes”. You cannot save the group until you remove her from the list.
4. Delete a group
In Edit group, select Delete. The screen asks “Delete {alias}?” and warns that entries already made do not change. Select Delete to confirm.
5. Use it when you register
When you add an entry in a duo, trio, group or team division, the Use a saved group field appears. It only lists saved groups of the same type as the division: in a duo division, only your duos.
- Choose a group in the drop-down (the initial option is “Choose…”).
- Its gymnasts are ticked: as starters while places remain and then as substitutes, just as if you ticked them yourself. The Group name takes the group’s alias.
- If a gymnast cannot take part in that division (for example, because of her year of birth or because there is no place left), she is skipped and the screen warns “N gymnasts in the group cannot take part in this division.”.
- Review and adjust whatever you need before selecting Save entry. The saved group only fills in the form; the entry can be changed freely.
The field only appears when you create a new entry, not when you edit an existing one. The full registration journey is in Register your club with email and a code and, if your club uses Clybo’, in Register your club from Clybo’.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot save the group: check that the number of members meets the rule for the type (2 in a duo, 3 in a trio, between 2 and 12 in a group or team), that you have typed an alias and that it is not repeated in your club.
- A member appears dimmed with “No longer among your athletes”: she is no longer in your Individuals list. Remove her from the group, or add her again or choose her Clybo’ team.
- You do not see “Use a saved group”: the division is individual, you are editing an entry or you have no saved group of the same type as the division.
- Gymnasts are missing when you choose the group: the skipped ones do not meet the division; the warning says how many. Add others by hand who do fit.
- You deleted a group and an entry was still using it: this is expected; entries already made do not change.
